The ART of Water Wells: Technical and Economic Considerations for Water Well Siting, Design, and Installation by Marvin Glotfelty, R.G., was recently published by The National Ground Water Association (NGWA) Press.
The text is written for anyone working in the groundwater field—well designers, contractors, engineers, water managers, and hydrogeologists. The book discusses practical techniques and considerations required to design, construct, evaluate, or modify water wells—many of which apply to other types of wells (e.g., monitoring wells, contaminant remediation wells, dewatering wells, injection wells, and piezometers).
Marvin Glotfelty is Principal Hydrogeologist and Co-Founder of GLA’s affiliate company, Clear Creek Associates. Mr. Glotfelty is also a Registered Geologist in Arizona and California, and is also a Licensed Water Well Driller in Arizona. With this broad background in groundwater and wells, Mr. Glotfelty is recognized as one of the leading experts in water well design and construction technology in the United States.
