GLA’s Board of Directors has appointed Wendy Figueroa to the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO); she also continues in the role of Corporate Treasurer. As CFO, Ms. Figueroa will be responsible for tracking and analyzing GLA’s financial position and will contribute to strategic initiatives that impact the company’s financial performance.
Ms. Figueroa joined GLA in 2018 as Controller/Internal Auditor. She passed the Uniform Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Examination in 2022. Ms. Figueroa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance, and has 20 years of professional experience. She began her career at KPMG after graduating from Tecnológico de Monterrey in Accounting and Finance. Ms. Figueroa has worked internationally including the Netherlands, Mexico, and Peru.
