Civil/Environmental Engineering Intern

Geo-Logic Associates is a privately held, multidisciplinary consulting firm specializing in geologic, geotechnical, hydrogeologic, civil, and environmental services. Our highly experienced professionals manage projects through 29 US office locations and an office in Peru.

GLA is currently seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineering Intern to assist primarily with field work in support of our engineering and environmental remediation projects. While the majority of the internship will involve hands-on field experience, interns will also have opportunities to work in the office to support data analysis, report preparation, and design tasks, gaining well-rounded professional experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct field investigations, environmental sampling, construction observation, and site assessments.
  • Document field activities, maintain field notes, and assist with preparation of field reports and logs.
  • Support project teams with data analysis, engineering calculations, and development of technical reports.
  • Assist with the preparation of drawings, permit applications, and project documentation.
  • Participate in project planning meetings and collaborate with engineers and scientists on a variety of project types.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in field work, environmental investigations, and engineering projects.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites and work outdoors.
  • Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to manage assigned tasks independently with guidance.

Position Requirements Include:

  • Be eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid driver’s license
