Geo-Logic Associates, Inc. (GLA) is currently seeking a full-time Project or Senior Geoscience Professional to join our team in Petaluma, California. The ideal candidate will provide essential support for various projects, including civil/site infrastructure, solid waste management, mining operations, and environmental remediation efforts.
GLA is a leading civil and environmental consulting firm with over 300 professionals across 27 offices in the United States, as well as an office in Peru. We specialize in a range of services including civil/site infrastructure, solid waste, mining, and environmental remediation.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in geological sciences, earth sciences, geotechnical engineering, or related field
- Professional registration as an Engineering Geologist, Hydrogeologist, or Geotechnical Engineer in the State of California
- Minimum of eight years of relevant experience
- Strong project management, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and technical analytical software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in geological sciences, earth sciences, or geotechnical engineering
- Experience in the solid waste industry
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and current 8-hour annual HAZWOPER training
- MSHA training
Candidate Must:
- Be willing to travel regularly and work at remote sites
- Have the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Pass a pre-employment physical examination and drug screening
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Possess a valid driver’s license
Pay range:
Project level – $80,000 to $119,000, depending on experience
Senior level – $115,000 to $150,500, depending on experience
