Geo-Logic Associates (GLA) is a privately-held, multidisciplinary, geologic, geotechnical, hydrogeologic, civil, and environmental consulting firm. Our highly experienced professionals manage projects through 28 US office locations and an office in Peru. GLA is currently seeking a full-time Environmental Technician to provide support for civil/site infrastructure, solid waste, and environmental remediation projects.

The Environmental Technician will provide field monitoring and sampling services to support regulatory compliance, environmental remediation, and litigation support projects. This work will include:
- Collecting groundwater, surface water, soil, and landfill leachate and gas samples
- Preparing sample Chain-of-Custody documents
- Coordinating sample delivery to analytical laboratories
- Assisting with maintaining groundwater monitoring well sampling systems
- Assisting with the operations and maintenance of landfill leachate treatment and groundwater corrective action systems
- Daily travel to work sites (local and remote)
- Interaction with team members, clients, and the general public.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in environmental sampling,
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in physical science, environmental studies, or a related field
- OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER training and current 8-hour annual HAZWOPER training
- Groundwater sampling training.
Candidate Must:
- Be eligible to work in the United States
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Pass a pre-employment physical examination, including drug screening.
