Previous recipients have been hydrologic pillars such as Stavros Papadopulos, Allan Freeze, John Cherry, John Bredehoeft, Shlomo Neumann, Mary Anderson, John Hem, and others. A roster of esteemed award recipients can be viewed here. Award presentations will take place during Groundwater Week 2025, December 9 to 11, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
According to Mr. Glotfelty, “This is a testament to NGWA’s recognition that water well technology is as important as other hydrologic technologies and scientific advances, since it is from those wells that our data (as well as water) flows.”
